A few hours ago, BTSJin went viral on social networks for pausing his schedule to vote in the South Korean elections, earning praise worldwide for being a positive role model for their fans.

On June 3rd (KST), the K-Pop idol was captured by the media outlets attending to the third polling station in Hannam-dong at the Jungbu Technical Education Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to cast his vote during the 9th National Simultaneous Local Elections and National Assembly by-elections.

The media outlet NewsInStar shared a video that follows Jin all the way to fulfill his civic duty despite a busy tour schedule while wearing a casual gray tracksuit, a black cap, and white sneakers, showing a neutral position about the elections.

When he was leaving the station, he found himself in front of the cameras, so he covered his face with his hand and said he had no time to wash up. The BTS member finally gave a quick wave with both hands before walking away.

Some comments were, “Proud of you, Jin, for doing your civic duty today and voting!” “Jin is an example for young people to follow!” “I love that #Jin is a civic-minded person and hope others follow his example.” “He really is the manner idol 🥰.”
