BTS’ Jin has dropped his latest heartwarming OST, “Close to You,” for the K-drama “When the Stars Gossip.” With a storyline that’s literally out of this world, this song brings Jin’s emotional and dreamy voice to life. Released on January 26, 2025, the track beautifully captures the love between protagonists Gong Ryong and Eve Kim, played by Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin.
ARMY (that’s the name BTS fans have) can’t get enough of the sweet lyrics and Jin’s signature soft and suave tone. To top it off, the music video showcases the couple’s most heartfelt moments aboard a space station, setting the perfect cosmic vibe for this romantic soundtrack.
This isn’t Jin’s first OST rodeo. His past hits include “Yours” for Jirisan and “It’s Definitely You” with V for “Hwarang.” This time, the K-drama “When the Stars Gossip” will be directed by Park Shin Woo, known for his magic touch on “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” bringing a love story that meets sci-fi with Jin’s perfect vocals as the OST. The show airs every Saturday and Sunday in South Korea, and it’s also available on Netflix in select regions.
