Since the release of “ARIRANG,” back in March 2026, the charts have never been the same. BTS has proven their great influence in the international markets by breaking records, surpassing their own established achievements, and becoming a notorious being in the music market.

On August 16 KST, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts announced that BTS’s fifth studio album “ARIRANG” had ranked No. 59 in its 21st consecutive week on the Official Albums Chart. Notably, the album became BTS ‘first album ever to spend 21 weeks on the Official Albums Chart.

The idols have just broken their personal record held by “Map of the Soul: Persona,” which charted for a total of 19 weeks seven years ago. Now, the idols are seeking a brand new challenge, becoming the longest-charting album released in 2026, bested only by Harry Styles’ “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally.”, which has charted for 23 weeks to date. Congratulations to BTS!
