YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s music agency, has informed South Korean media outlets that BLACKPINK’s musical project is in the final stages and they are ready to embark on a new chapter of their artistry in 2026.
“The album is in the final stages of completion. Once all preparations are completed, we will deliver the news through an official promotion announcement.”
Despite rumors claiming BLACKPINK’s comeback will be in December 2025, they have pushed back to January 2026 to refine some details of the production of the album. In addition, in October, it was reported that BLACKPINK had already filmed the music video for their newest title track.
