aespa will release a pre-release single with G-Dragon before the arrival of their second full-length album, “Lemonade.” SM Entertainment announced that the quartet will unveil “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” on May 11, 2026, at 6 p.m. Then, the full album will follow this release, and it is scheduled for Friday, May 29, 2026.

The upcoming track has been described as a hip-hop-based dance song with heavy synth bass and strong hooks. Its lyrics are expected to show aespa’s growth and introduce a new chapter in the group’s future era. G-Dragon participated as a featured artist and also has songwriting credits in his own rap verse, making the collaboration one of the most talked-about parts of the release.

aespa also released a teaser for the “WDA” music video through their official YouTube channel on May 7, 2026. The sneak peek showed the members in a darker and more mysterious aesthetic compared to previous releases. The “Lemonade” album will include 10 tracks across different genres and will be aespa’s first full-length album in about two years, following “Armageddon,” which was released in May 2024
