Through recent media reports, a former military colleague of BTSV spoke about the idol’s true personality and shared anecdotes with the singer during their military service.

After the K-Pop idol shared a fun story about going to church during his military service, on May 29th, one of his former military colleagues, the bodybuilder Kim Gi-tae, shared through his Instagram account how he met the idol and some of their stories.

The soldier revealed that he was assigned to the same first platoon as V and also said that the idol gave Korean beef to the trainees, telling them they had worked hard. He recounted how they sat down together to eat and talk.

He also shared how they watched a Christmas musical together at church and how the BTS member received cheers after the performance. He also described how the idol applied for and obtained the position of platoon leader, demonstrating his dedication.

“He was a really kind and positive person who always led things in a good direction, and he was a magnanimous individual with a lot of playfulness and affection,” he finally said.

All these words demonstrate the idol’s effort to enjoy his time in the army, working hard, creating bonds and sharing love by showing his true personality, leaving a mark on all those colleagues who fulfilled their duty by his side.
