Meghan Markle let herself be seen for the first time after the announcement of the ending of her multi-million deal with the digital streaming platform Spotify. The duchess’ production company, Archewell Audio, which she co-owns with her husband, the prince Harry, announced last Thursday morning that they would be breaking ties with Spotify, and the cease of all their activities ahead.
Since the announcement on Thursday, the wife of the prince Harry was not seen on camera until the day after. Archewell, the audio production house owned and directed by the two ex-royals, announced that the ending of their deal with Spotify was a mutually taken decision.
On Friday morning, Meghan was photographed while she had a conversation via phone call, very close to her property in California, which was the first time she was seen after the announcement that confirmed the multi-million-dollar loss for her audio production company.
Spotify was the platform that Archewell Audio used to post and promote their podcast, titled “Archetypes”, which was successfully launched and very well received around august of last year, making it to the top spot in the “hit-list” of the podcasts in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand.
For context, the podcast series spawned just 12 episodes during its first season, starring worldwide famous personalities from multiple areas such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, and Paris Hilton. The podcast won a People’s Choice Award last year, and it was also awarded during the 48th Gracie Awards, last year. Surely, a low blow for the duke and duchess.
