During the end-of-year show, which aired hours before the end of 2020, boyband The Boyz and girlband LOONA teamed up for a special performance with impressive choreography. The chosen theme was ‘Blinding Lights‘ by The Weeknd.
This is typical of K-pop groups and artists, doing dance performances of the most popular songs of the moment in their shows. But what really surprised everyone is that The Weeknd responded.
On January 1, the Canadian superstar sent a lot of love to the artists through her personal Instagram account, where she posted a screenshot of the clip taken from YouTube.
Some netizens really got excited while others pointed out that The Weeknd simply wanted to have a free promotion to gain more fame, somewhat nonsensical since the artist is one of the most successful of the moment.
