Kim Him-chan, better known as Himchan debuted on 2012 with other 5 members in the TS Entertainment‘s new group ‘BAP‘ that disbanded on february of the last year for the expiration of the contract.
After being accussed for harrasing a woman on July 2018 he denied the allegations saying:
“There were good feelings for each other”
Now, he is involved in a new controversy due to on 26th of this month he drove drunk near to Hakdong intersection in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, and hit a railing.
He released an official statement where he said:
“First of all, I sincerely apologize for sending the bad news to the fans.
I deeply apologize again for causing social controversy over the drinking accident that occurred yesterday, and i deeply reflect on the fact that the inappropriate and embarrassing incident caused deep disappointment to the public.
I’m deeply regretting and reflecting on drunk driving, and it is a necessary investigation in the future, i will faithfully investigate the police. Also, after today, I will live my life with self-restraint and reflection.
I sincerely apologize for causing concern to the fans who have always supported and cherished me, and drunk driving is an act that should never be done socially, and i cannot escape responsibility for this part. Again, I bow my head and sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people with unpleasant matters.
I’m sorry.”
Hopefully, no one was injured. However, his trial by the harrasment will take place on November 18th
