Oliver Hoare caught the attention of the British public back in the 90s, after he started being rumored to be one of Diana’s love affairs, even though he was also an intimate friend of the now King Charles III.
Hoare graced all the covers of the newspapers in Britain and the rest of the world in the 90s, after the rumor of his romantic relationship to the Princess Diana of Wales got very popular, many theories signal that Lady Di had an era of vengeance against the Royal Family, as they were mistreating her. In this era, Diana started a sentimental relationship with Hoare. The British press shared a story about the guards of the royal castle catching him, naked, while running in the middle of the park behind the castle, presumably, after visiting the princess, and then trying to run away.
Another story shared at the time said that the Princess Diana would hide Oliver in the back of the car to be able to get him inside the Buckingham Palace without the guards or any passersby noticing.
As told by the news of the time, both parts decided to stop the love encounters because Hoare was not only Prince Charles’ friend, but also a husband and a father of 3. He would have insisted that he was willing to leave his family behind, but Diana talked him out of the idea, for the sake of the children, and they couldn’t have possibly gotten married anyway.
On an interview Diana offered back in 1995, she stated that she spoke with Oliver for around six to eight months.
The Princess of the People, as many called her, was going through a very hard time emotionally and physically as well, it was revealed that she was suffering from stress, eating disorders due to the pressure she was constantly put under by the Royal Family, some reports even claimed that the princess would have even suffered from anemia.
