Recent reports revealed Stray Kids’ Bang Chan marked his birthday with a 300 million KRW donation, demonstrating once again his commitment to philanthropy.
On October 3rd, the K-Pop idol turned 29, and he celebrated this special day by making a donation of approximately 225,000 USD to three charitable organizations, distributed as 100 million KRW to HearCycle, World Vision, and the Our Sea of East Asia Network (OSEAN).
Bang Chan donation funds will be allocated according to each organization’s specific objectives; in case of HearCycle, they will support medical treatment and social reintegration programs for young people with hearing loss.

World Vision will be used for scholarships and tailored support for children and youth with economic difficulties, and OSEAN will fund environmental protection activities such as coastal and river cleanup initiatives aimed at combating marine debris.
The leader of Stray Kids shared a statement reflecting on these donations: “It is deeply meaningful to be able to extend a helping hand to various areas in need, from children’s dreams to the environment we live in. I hope my sincere heart reaches every place where help is needed and contributes to building a better tomorrow together.”
