BTS keeps facing criticism from some fans after RM and J-Hope attended Chris Brown and Usher’s R&B Tour at Rogers Stadium on Wednesday, August 12. The negative reaction grew after J-Hope posted a video a day after the concert, showing himself and RM dancing during Chris Brown’s performance of “Look at Me Now.” Adding fuel to the fire, photos of the two BTS rappers with the “Residuals” singer were posted online, which made some fans point to some of Chris Brown’s past legal controversies. The artist has been known for a series of allegations involving abuse and sexual assault.

The discussion surrounding the connection to the R&B singer continued as the BTS members and official accounts posted regular content. V shared a gym video with Jungkook, while J-Hope uploaded backstage photos from the group’s current ARIRANG World Tour. The official BTS account also posted new images and released scheduled tour content on YouTube. However, some fans felt the timing ignored their concerns, while others defended the members and said that the posts were unrelated to the controversy.
