Through a recent interaction with fans, Jisoo shares an honest message after BLACKPINK‘s controversial 10th anniversary, explaining the reason for her concerning tears while leaving the event.
On August 8th, the girl group celebrates 10 years of their debut with a live stream and meet-and-greet event with lucky fans; however, they later apologise for a communication issue that affected their plans for this important day.
The same day, Jisoo was captured holding her tears while saying goodbye to fans, generating much speculation about the reason behind her emotional reaction. The next day, the idol responds to all controversy with a message on Bubble for BLISSOO.

The BLACKPINK member started the interaction talking about her arrival in Beijing and opened up about the difficulties in communicating with fans during the anniversary event due to “boundaries for the things we want to say, the things we can say, and the things we shouldn’t say.”
She continued by ensuring that all the members truly loved their fans and explained that her controversial tears were a result of emotions about this significant day in her career, which helped to dispel all the malicious rumours.
“But, I wanted to say that the four of us love everyone so, so, so much!! I want to let you know we think all of you are precious to us. There seem to be a lot of people who were shocked at me crying yesterday. I guess I was a person, too! I can’t believe I wasn’t a robot.
But I hope that my tears don’t get caught up in various meanings. I just want to clarify that the tears I shed were from a variety of emotions felt on our 10th anniversary.”
