A few hours ago, the agency behind ITZY announced their member Yuna to skip the upcoming fan sign event after facing sudden health issues, which took her to the hospital.

On July 30th, JYPE shared a new statement through their fans plataform ‘FANS‘ announcing the K-Pop idol will be absence from the offline SHENZHEN fan sign event of the girls group on August 1 and 2 for poor health condition.

The agency revealed Yuna “recently visited the hospital due to a high fever and was diagnosed with inflammation through an internal medicine examination”, concluding that the medical recommendation was that she needed hospitalisation.

For that reason, the idol will be absence from the two dates of this fan event meanwhile the rest of ITZY members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong will be attending as scheduled while any changes due to Yuna’s absence will be individually notified.

They concluded their message apologising for causing concern to the fans and assuring them that they prioritise the artist’s health to guarantee her full and soon recovery and return to her activities with the members.
