ITZY returns with Motto during their latest world tour

ITZY will return with a new project on May 18, 2026, when the group releases its 12th EP, “Motto.” The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, through JYP Entertainment and marks the group’s first comeback in about six months. Their last EP, “Tunnel Vision,” came out late in 2025, so this new release breaks a relatively long period of musical silence. In addition, ITZY is continuing to stay active in the market while also meeting fans across several countries.

The new EP will be released during the group’s international tour, which began in February 2026. The five members recently performed in Melbourne and Sydney, and they are expected to continue the tour with more concerts in Tokyo next month. From mid June 2026, the group will also perform in Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, and Manila. This schedule makes the release of “Motto” extra special because their fans (also known as MIDZY) will be able to enjoy the new tracks with live performances happening across Asia and Australia.

At the same time, the quintet is also seeing unexpected success from an older song. “That’s a No No,” originally from the 2020 EP “It’z Me,” entered Melon’s Top 100 for the first time in March 2026 after a performance clip went viral, marking a sudden resurgence for the track. Back in 2020, ITZY’s main focus was on “Wannabe,” which has gone on to become one of their quintessential songs. Regardless, the response to “That’s a No No” gives the five-member girl group strong traction ahead of “Motto.”
