BTS fans in Chile have received good news after weeks of uncertainty! The Chilean government has officially approved the group’s three sold-out ARIRANG concerts at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago following changes to the production plans. The performances are scheduled for October 14, 2026, October 16, 2026, and October 17, 2026, with approximately 200,000 concert-goers expected to attend. Earlier this July, Chile’s National Sports Institute rejected the original proposal to hold the concert in the venue, with Sports Minister Natalia Ducto citing concerns that the 360-degree stage could damage the stadium’s grass and interfere with scheduled sporting events. That decision led to protests from fans after Duco stated that the authorisation to use the venue “never existed.”
After several weeks of discussions, organizers submitted a revised proposal that includes the use of cranes positioned around the athletics track instead of directly on the field. In addition, a ventilated protective cover was designed to reduce damage to the grass and speed up its recovery after the concerts. Local promoter DG Medios thanked the Ministry of Sports, the National Sports Institute, and stadium officials for working together to find a solution.
“We remain committed to delivering a first-class experience for BTS and their fans while producing the shows responsibly and complying with all technical requirements established by the authorities to protect Estadio Nacional’s infrastructure,” the promoter said.

The concerts in Chile are part of BTS’ Arirang world tour, which includes more than 80 shows across 34 regions.
