BTS is using an unusual marketing campaign to promote their upcoming single “NORMAL.” On July 13, 2026, an advertisement appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle, followed by another in the New York Post on July 14, 2026. The fake tabloid headline said, “BTS Seen in Bathroom Amid Mysterious Late-Night Gathering.” The playful image shows RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook standing with their backs to the camera while the article funnily suggests the situation may not have been “normal.” The attendant copy says:
“Questions have been raised following a late-night photo appearing to show all seven BTS members together in what appears to be an unexpected setting. While the gathering itself remains unconfirmed, some have questioned whether the situation was entirely normal. The image has quickly sparked curiosity and speculation.”

The advertisement says more details will be revealed on July 17, 2026, when both the song and music video will debut exclusively on Spotify. The track will then become available on all streaming platforms on July 19, 2026. Meanwhile, the release of the single follows the sucess of “SWIM,” which became a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Circle Chart in South Korea.

The seven-member team is scheduled to perform alongside Justin Bieber, Madonna, and Shakira at the very first FIFA Halftime Show, making the event a historic moment both for the tournament and the artists.
