SEVENTEEN gave an emotional message to fans during their 10th “Carat Land” fan meeting, held on June 21 and June 22 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. The event held special meaning since several members are preparing for mandatory military service. With Jeonghan, Wonwoo, Hoshi, and Woozi already enlisted and temporarily absent from the group, nine members participated in the fan meeting. Similarly, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino are also expected to begin their military service in the coming months. Despite the upcoming hiatus for the boy group, the members repeatedly assured fans that they would return stronger.

“I’d like to take this time to say thank you to everyone who has been a part of our lives, even those who may not be our fans anymore, for supporting Seventeen throughout its career,” he said, expressing hope that fans would continue growing older alongside the group for decades to come.

The event began with an express train concept that transported both the group and fans to the fictional world of Carat Land. The show began with SEVENTEEN delivering performances of “Together,” “Heaven’s Cloud,” and “My My” before moving into the fan meeting’s signature variety show-like segments. One of the highlights was the return of the popular reverse stage, where members performed songs originally released by their bandmates.

“Even with only nine members here today, we can fill an entire reverse stage with each other’s solo songs,” Mingyu said. “That shows how much each member has grown.”

As the event went on, SEVENTEEN performed fan-favorite hits including “Oh My!,” “Pretty U,” “Thinkin’ about You,” “Home,” “God of Music,” and “Very Nice.” Fireworks and light sticks lit up the stadium as the fan meeting reached its end. Although the group will slow down during their military enlistment period, they already have plans for plans to make up for their absence. For example, the sub-unit made up of The8 and Vernon will debut their unit, V8, on June 29. Meanwhile, member Dino is preparing a solo project focused on his alter ego Picheolin, scheduled for August 3.
