BTS‘ upcoming concerts in Busan are already having a major impact on the city’s tourism industry. According to industry sources, hotel reservations from international visitors have increased significantly ahead of the septet’s shows on June 12 and June 13, 2026. The concerts are part of BTS WORLD TOUR “ARIRANG” and are expected to attract thousands of fans from around the world. Consequently, hotels, restaurants, and local businesses are preparing for one of the busiest tourism periods of the year.

Hanwha Hotels & Resorts reported that foreign visitors accounted for 42% of room bookings at its Matie Osiria hotel between June 11 and June 13, 2026. During the same period in 2025, international guests represented only 0.2% of reservations. The company also shared that foreign bookings for the entire month of June increased tenfold compared to the previous year. Similar trends have been seen at other hotels in the region. For example, Paradise Hotel Busan announced that more than 90% of its rooms were booked during the concert period, with overseas travelers making up 70% of guests.

Industry officials believe the BTS concerts have turned into much more than simple concerts. Many visitors are expected to spend several days in Busan, exploring local attractions, shopping districts, restaurants, and cultural sites, besides attending the boy group’s show. In addition, tourism experts say this level of international interest could provide a significant boost to the regional economy. With several international fans arriving to the region, the concerts are expected to generate benefits for businesses throughout the city, which strenghtens Busan’s reputation as a place for major global events.
