King Charles III royal overseas agenda is not over until May

2026 marks one splendid year for the King, who is currently under cancer treatment. However, royal followers highlight the King’s efforts and commitment to the British crown, regardless of the situation, making a positive impact on the young to the oldest generations in the United Kingdom. A Government House spokesperson commented on the upcoming visit:

On Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May, His Majesty The King will travel from the East to the West, stopping at various points along the way. There will be multiple opportunities to be a part of this landmark Royal Visit. And the Governor, His Excellency Andrew Murdoch, CMG, invites you to join him in providing a warm Bermudian welcome to The King.

His Majesty’s visit to Bermuda will celebrate the many contributions the people of Bermuda make in their communities, within the wider British family and beyond, and will be His Majesty’s first visit to a British Overseas Territory as Sovereign. It is also the first-ever visit by a reigning King to Bermuda.

The visit will also allow His Majesty to connect with the younger generation, seeing how their creativity and commitment is helping to tackle both local and global issues.”
