KATSEYE is finally addressing the ongoing controversy regarding Manon’s suspicious hiatus after it was reported that she will be missing some of the major activity promotions to focus on her health and well-being.
While both the label and Manon have reassured several times that she is doing okay, there’s no official date for her return, or even if she is going to come back to the girl band at some point. This increases the concerns of the K-Netizens over Manon.

Recently, KATSEYE granted an Apple Music interview with Zane Lowe to talk about their performance at Coachella. Sophia explained that the group has been working hard despite everything that has been going on, acknowledging Manon’s absence and finally addressing it as a group:
“You know Manon has been on hiatus, and we love her so much. We know that she’s been doing well. She got to talk to the fans about it, and we’re just really excited, and we’re rooting for all of us. At the end of the day, we all just want each other to win, and to be good, to feel good, and to be happy.”
