BTS continues to lead the Billboard 200 with ARIRANG, which holds the #1 spot for a third consecutive week on the chart dated April 18, 2026. The project earned 124,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the tracking week that ended on April 9, 2026, according to Luminate. Even though the numbers are down 34% from the previous week, this was still enough to keep the album at the top of the chart. ARIRANG first entered at the #1 spot on the April 4, 2026 chart, and it has remained there ever since. This three-week run gives BTS one of the strongest recent performances for a group album.

This chart result is notable because group albums rarely stay at #1 for several weeks in a row. The last album by a group to spend at least three weeks at the top was Babel by Mumford and Sons in 2012 and 2013. That project also opened with three straight weeks at #1. In addition to that feat, ARIRANG is also the first album to spend its first three weeks at the top since Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl began a seven-week reign on October 18, 2025. In a slow week for the chart, there were no new top 10 debuts, which had not happened since the chart dated January 17, 2026.
