Hot Ones announces the group appearance
On Sunday, April 5, 2026, Hot Ones announced that BTS would appear on the show for the very first time. The episode will feature all seven members (RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, Jin, Jimin, and V) with host Sean Evans, which makes it different from the usual format because the series usually has one guest at a time. In the announcement video, Evans sits at an unusually large table and explains that the set had to be changed to welcome all seven BTS members.
“This week’s guests on the season finale of Hot Ones, they flew all the way across the world to be here at this table,” the interviewer stated.
The episode sets a new record for the series
Then, Evans says the table is the biggest one the studio has ever had for an episode. With seven members of BTS and the host, the episode includes 80 chicken wings in total, setting a new Hot Ones record. The teaser also shows social media posts from fans who had been asking for BTS to be a part of the show.
“And while we’re on the topic of tables, it’s the largest one this studio has ever seen,” Evans said. “We’ve got seven chairs, seven sets of wings. Including me, that is 80 wings on the table, a Hot Ones record.”

After that, the camera reveals the chairs labeled with the members’ names: RM, J-Hope, Jin, Suga, V, Jungkook, and Jimin. Evans closes the short clip by referencing past BTS hits with the lines “It’s gonna be dynamite” and “Smooth like butter,” hinting at the songs “Dynamite” and “Butter,” respectively.
Fans will see the episode and the tour begin
The episode is scheduled to premiere at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Fans are waiting to see how each member handles the spicy interview and the infamous hot wings that have made the show so popular. That same day also marks an important start, as BTS will begin their world stadium tour in support of ARIRANG. The project has already spent its second week at #1 on the Billboard 200, while the main single, SWIM, goes from #1 to #2 on the Hot 100.
