King Charles III sparked backlash by not delivering an Easter message soon

King Charles III used to send beautiful and hopeful Easter messages every year. However, the Monarch of the United Kingdom seemed to skip this year’s message, bringing hatred from the British People.

Previously, Buckingham Palace reported that the King wouldn’t be giving an Easter message. GB News reported that Charles’ silence would upset some Christians as he wished Islamic practicing people a “blessed and happy Ramadan” on social media in February. However, the King released a last-minute message to the Christians, which also brought the conversation to the table about whether he was being pressured to do it.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that it has never been a royal tradition to put out an Easter message, so it’s not a surprise if the King decided to skip it this year, as it’s not part of his royal duties to celebrate this important event for the Christian people.

“Queen Elizabeth only gave one Easter message during the COVID pandemic, which has justly become famous, as it was so beautifully crafted. The king did give an Easter message last year and a Royal Maundy message in 2024.”
