King Charles III is making headlines once again for his upcoming trip to the United States next year. The Monarch of the United Kingdom will be joining the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of the country, marking his first visit since 2018.
Washington, DC, and The Sun have reported that there are negotiations taking place for the visit, in which King Charles III will be accompanied by Queen Camilla Parker. It is also reported that US President Donald Trump will host His Majesty during the lavish State Visit in April 2026.

The visit will come just a month after the King and the Queen hosted US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump in September. The upcoming trip will take place in the run-up to America’s July 4 Independence Day celebrations, where Trump is planning on hosting a number of events to mark Independence Day.
The upcoming celebrations will mark a special moment between the United States and the United Kingdom as the two leaders seem to have a great relationship. A White House spokesperson told The Telegraph that the US President had a great time in the U.K. during his latest visit:
“It was a really fantastic trip. The British know how to do this perfectly. They set the bar high for their trip to see us.”
