On September 11th, 2025, Prince Harry finally reunited with his father, King Charles, after 19 months apart. But instead of predictably meeting at Buckingham Palace, the pair met privately at Clarence House in London around 5:20 p.m. for a quiet tea moment that lasted less than an hour.

Seems the meeting with his father, King Charles is ON.

So why Clarence House? Simple. It’s the King’s main residence with Queen Camilla, unlike Buckingham Palace, which is more of an official workplace. Besides, with Buckingham undergoing renovations until 2027, Clarence House offered a cozier and less chaotic place for a family catch-up. It also carries sentimental weight for Charles, who inherited it from the Queen Mother in 2003.

Harry’s visit wasn’t just about family. During his four-day UK trip, he also attended the WellChild Awards and honored his late mother at the Diana Award ceremony. While the reunion was brief, the choice of venue signaled a desire for peace and privacy, away from the public eye. He also announced a personal donation of $1,5 million to BBC Children in Need to support the United Kingdom’s youth.
