Stray Kids just set the bar sky-high! On August 22, 2025, the group dropped their fourth full-length album “KARM” with the title track “CEREMONY,” and the numbers broke the charts! Selling more than 2 million copies in just 24 hours, the album went on to move an incredible 3.03 million copies in its first week. That makes “KARMA” the best-selling K-pop album of the year and the album with the highest first-week sales of 2025 overall.

The album topped Hanteo’s Weekly Physical Album Chart (Aug 18–24) and Circle Chart’s Weekly Album and Retail Charts (Aug 17–23), dominating every list it debuted on. On Spotify, Stray Kids showcased their global power, ranking 2nd worldwide and 5th in the US for Top Album Debut, while “CEREMONY” itself hit 2nd globally on the Top Song Debut chart. The group also became the first 4th-gen K-pop act to pass 20 million followers on Spotify, proving Western music media platforms are also at their feet.
Topping things off, Stray Kids snagged a music show win for “CEREMONY” on Mnet’s M Countdown on August 28, 2025. With buzz building for a potential #1 debut on the Billboard 200 and a chart fight for the top spot with KPop Demon Hunters, “KARMA” has become a record-breaking moment that cements Stray Kids as an unstoppable K-pop force in 2025.
