In a recent interview, Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan hilariously revealed his mom can’t cook while sharing memories from his childhood that expose her skills.
On August 20th, the K-Pop idol appeared on ‘Fridge Interview,’ hosted by Sana from TWICE, where they had a conversation about his career and their longtime relationship as colleagues, and they checked together the content of his fridge.
During this famous segment, they found anchovy broth, which made Bang Chan recall childhood memories of his mother’s dishes and share with fans a hilarious truth: “My mom… Jessica, I’m sorry. Anyway, my mom really, really can’t cook…!”
“I didn’t realize it at the time, but she would always buy food from outside. But if there was one thing my mom could make, I guess she really wanted to make anchovy broth, no matter what! So she’d add anchovy broth to basically everything she cooked… So I just thought, ‘Oh, I guess this is what makes food taste good.'”
