Stray Kids are rewriting Kpop history as we speak with their iconic world tour, “RUN IT,” as part of the promotions of their latest musical project, “THIS & THAT.” Ultimately, the idols made history in Japan as no other Kpop artist has.
On August 29 and 30, Stray Kids delighted Japanese fans with solo concerts at Japan’s Tokyo National Stadium (MUFG Stadium). The idols followed TWICE as the first overseas artists to perform at the venue, marking the first overseas male act to headline the stadium.

The idols drew 140,000 fans to the stadium, making it one of their most profitable dates so far. The idols even surprised fans by announcing additional shows at Tokyo Dome from November 6 to 8. The dates mark their first Tokyo Dome performances since the 2024 “dominATE JAPAN” tour.
There’s no doubt Stray Kids has become one of the most notable Kpop groups since their debut in 2018, and they are still achieving huge milestones worldwide. Japan’s tour figures are only living proof of what Stray Kids is made of.
