BTS’ J-Hope is currently promoting his new single, “Killin’ It Girl,” along with the Brazilian singer, GloRilla. The song has become a global phenomenon, debuting inside several charts in different regions. In addition, the biggest music market has given a warm welcome to the song as well.
On June 24, Billboard revealed that J-Hope had broken into the top 40 of the Hot 100 for the first time as a soloist. This is a major achievement for the idol who has accumulated eight solo entries in the chart since he started his solo career.

The new entry not only marks J-Hope’s highest solo ranking to date on the Hot 100, but it also marks a new Kpop record, as J-Hope has now overtaken his bandmate Jungkook to set a new record for the most Hot 100 entries of any Kpop soloist.
In addition, “Killin’ It Girl” also debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales, meaning it was the best-selling song of the week in the United States. The song also debuted at No.2 on the Global Excl U.S., indicating the idol has a major hit on his hands!
