BTS’ Jin returns to his old high school

BTS’ Jin is living his best life since he was discharged from the South Korean military on June 12, 2024. The idol has been sharing valuable moments, including a recent visit to his old high school, which brings him several memories.

On August 20 KST, a new “Run, Jin” video with the theme “Glorious Homecoming” was uploaded on BTS’ official YouTube channel. The emotional video shows the idol visiting his old school in his old school uniform.

The idol reflected on his return after 14 years laughing and explained he didn’t feel strong enough back then. He was usually considered an outsider despite spending so many years interacting in his old school. On top of that, he is still surprised he became a global phenomenon when he joined BTS.

“Back in middle and high school, I felt a bit out of place and weak. I might have been considered a nerd or an outsider, so I never expected to return here as a superstar.”

BTS’ Jin also visited the school store and was completely shocked to see a menu board on the wall. The idol was disappointed because his favorite snacks were no longer available and remarked about the rising prices, explaining his snacks were about $0.75 back then.
