In 2020, Prince Harry and his wife decided to give up their royal duties to move to the United States and make a new life away from the monarchy and everything related to it; however, after a recent trip, Meghan Markle‘s new royal title has angered the United Kingdom.
Everything happened after Harry made a solo visit to England to present the Invictus Games tenth anniversary, as it seems that Meghan has no intention of stepping on British soil; in fact, she seemed to prefer to wait for her husband to finish his activities in the UK to travel together to Nigeria.
The motivation to go to the African country arose after it became known that Meghan actually has 43% of Nigerian blood, making it clear that she is mainly from that country. This allowed her to receive the royal title ‘Adetokunbo‘, which was awarded by the local monarch, and its meaning would be “The Queen who has returned from far away“.
For the British Crown, this act of Meghan Markle is an insult to their ideals, since she had assured them that she renounced all her royal duties because she wanted a normal life, free and without titles, but even so, she accepts a royal title offered by another monarchy.
