During an exclusive interview with E News, the renowned actor Wendell Pierce from ‘Suits‘ revealed the advice he gave Meghan Markle about her relationship with Prince Harry, even before they got married, because although only on the show they were ‘father and daughter’, in real life they also had a similar connection.
The actor revealed that during the last day of work with the Duchess of Sussex, he approached her and said, “Your life is going to be a whirlwind. You’re going to be in this bubble” and ended by saying, “I just want you to remember that no matter what happens, you always have friends“.
This makes it clear that the ‘father-daughter’ relationship between Wendell Pierce and Meghan Markle went beyond the role they played in the hit series ‘Suits’, as the welfare of the Duchess was important to the actor, on and off the set.
The last episode together was during the wedding of Meghan’s character, Rachel Zane, with Mike Ross, played by Patrick J. Adams. This was her departure from the series since, a year later, she would officially announce her engagement to Prince Harry, who proposed to her.
