Throughout their musical career, the K-Pop boy group BTS has managed to be a reference in many sectors of the entertainment industry, which even influenced the new movie ‘The Idea of You‘ starring Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine.
This new production, based on the novel of the same name by Robinne Lee, tells the story of the main singer of a boy band who falls in love with the mother of a fan who is sixteen years older than him. Although many fans claim the male star is inspired by Harry Styles, it was confirmed that even BTS influenced this character.
When the main actor was previously asked about the Harry Styles rumors, he said that various artists inspired the movie, revealing, “I think Hayes is such a wonderful character in of himself. There were so many amazing references we used: BTS for a lot of the choreography, which was really great“.
