GOT7’s Youngjae is officially preparing for his mandatory military service, making him the last member of the boy group to enlist. His agency, Andbut Company, released an official statement announcing that the singer will begin his service as a social service worker on November 27, 2025.
According to the agency, Youngjae chose not to make a public farewell and will quietly fulfill his military duties. He will serve for 21 months in public service, which is slightly longer than the 18-month active duty term, and is expected to be discharged on August 26, 2027. In the announcement, the company thanked the fans for their continued love and asked them to support Youngjae during his service period.

With this, all GOT7 members have now completed or begun their service. Yugyeom enlisted on September 29, 2025, with a planned discharge in March 2027, while leader JAY B finished his 21-month service on November 1, 2024. Park Jinyoung completed his service on November 7 that same year, and the remaining members (Mark, Jackson, and BamBam) are exempt due to their foreign citizenships. Fans are already counting down the days until their beloved group reunites as one.
