Why does Prince Philip label King Charles III’s candid biography “Bloody Stupid”

Despite King Charles III having done such an amazing job as Monarch of the United Kingdom during the last couple of years. The then-Prince of Wales might stumble during his ascension to the very throne; that’s why Prince Philip thought one move made by the King was “bloody stupid.”

In a new revelation by royal author Gyles Brandreth, the late Duke of Edinburgh’s furious reaction to his son’s candid 1994 biography. Brandreth disclosed Prince Philip was “bloody angry” and thought it “bloody stupid” for the then-Prince of Wales to air his private grievances publicly.

The whole dispute surrounded King Charles III’s collaboration with biographer Jonathan Dimbleby, where he admitted feeling “emotionally estranged” from his parents. Brandreth, who worked with Prince Philip for years, stated these comments made by King Charles III deeply “hurt his parents.”

Although the late Queen Elizabeth II remained silent, Philip revealed to Brandreth that his wife was “saddened” by the revelations. Philip attributed King Charles III’s comments to the emotional distance, as royal children were primarily raised by nannies due to the monarch’s demanding schedule. Ultimately, Philip was always mad over the King’s decisions to disclose his private thoughts.
