King Charles III is once again involved in tens of rumors of an apparent shocking death. However, the King has been a victim of misinformation over the years; in a bizarre echo of past hoaxes, King Charles III is alive and well, despite a recent on-air gaffe that sent the nation into a momentary spin.
Recently, Radio Caroline made a false announcement of the monarch’s death. However, the British regulator Ofcom concluded its investigation into the May accident, stating it was not a technical glitch, but the result of a curious employee.
The investigation stated that a staffer discovered three prerecorded “death of the monarch” messages while performing maintenance. So, the staffer played one of them out of curiosity, unknowingly broadcasting the sensitive files over the air, interrupting The Barry Marsh Show.
Despite blaming it on a technical issue at first, the staffer was reprimanded, and the files have been moved offline. Once again, Ofcom ruled the station breached accuracy and correction rules to dismiss the tens of rumors of King Charles III’s death.
