Queen Camilla Parker has unveiled a shocking yet heartbreaking secret she has been carrying for years now. The queen has just addressed the emotional burden of keeping King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up as a private matter before Buckingham Palace announced it in February 2024.
A newly released video for Maggie’s, a cancer support charity of which Queen Camilla Parker is president, recalled visiting a London hospital shortly before the palace revealed the health status of the Monarch of the United Kingdom. She said she wanted to discuss her husband’s condition but felt it was not the appropriate moment.
“Nobody could say anything at the time; that was quite difficult. I was just longing to let it out but obviously I couldn’t.”
The Queen also praised King Charles III after he didn’t stop any of his public duties while battling a cancer diagnosis. Despite Buckingham Palace never disclosing the specific type of Cancer Charles has, the King seems to be doing fine during this hard time.
