EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, the voices behind Netflix’s animated hit KPop Demon Hunters, are going up, and it’s their moment! On November 7, 2025, the trio found out that their song “Golden” is up for Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo or Group Performance, and Best Song Written for Visual Media. Adding to the hype, the movie’s soundtrack is also nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, and the best part? The three artists reacted to their achievements with joy.

“We all screamed,” Audrey Nuna told PEOPLE how the three screamed after finding out about their nominations over a Zoom video call. “I got chills in my body,” EJAE revealed, while Rei Ami admitted she blacked out.
“A Grammy nomination means so much to anyone who’s in music and anyone who creates for a living. It’s a very culminating moment. And I think that we’re just not only thinking about this film, but our lives, the cultural context and the history, and our parents, and the struggles,” Audrey Nuna shared.
In the film, the artists are the singing voices of HUNTRIX, a trio who shine as K-pop idols on stage but have to slay demons to protect their loved ones. And while the film is animated, its impact has become very real! Their first live TV stage hit The Tonight Show on October 7, and a concert debut arrives on December 5 at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball 2025 in Los Angeles. The movie premiered in June 2025 and quickly became Netflix’s most-watched animated title, racking up more than 236 million views and topping the platform’s all-time list.
