Shakira has found herself in hot water once more after sharing a video on Instagram in which she can be heard singing a part of the song “Kill Bill” by American singer SZA.
Many of her followers criticized her, claiming that the meaning of the song is to murder her partner, former soccer player Gerard Piqué, who is now in a relationship with 23-year-old Clara Chía.
The song’s brief passage alludes to Shakira’s current predicament in the wake of Gerard Piqué’s affair with Clara Chía and his decision to share his first Instagram photo with his new lover, according to several of the singer’s fans.

The Colombian singer has been open about the difficult period she is going through since splitting up with the former Barcelona footballer, but she is completely committed to her family and her music profession.
Many of Shakira’s fans have commented on the video and given their opinions, some of which have harshly criticized the song selection and its interpretation. Others have shown their support and solidarity with Shakira. The artist hasn’t made any additional comments on the situation, for her part.
