Rosalía was interviewed on the television show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, to talk about the new album “MOTOMAMI”, which comes out on March 18th, but she ended up talking about an unusual situation involving Harry Styles.
She explained that she often changes her phone number and people end up texting some single person who should be her, but the number has changed. This happened to Harry Styles and he sent a screenshot of the situation, expose by the singer on the talk show.
“I changed my number so often because I didn’t respond to messages – I realized I wanted to focus, be in the studio, work”, she explained.
“I thought when you use a phone number, that number disappears or something” she explained she didn’t realize her number would go to other person.
“My friends, who thought they were texting me, were texting random people”.
Harry Styles ended up texting with a number he thought was Rosalía’s, but it wasn’t anymore. Rosalía took her cell phone out of her boots to show the evidence.
“He sent me this screenshot in DMs, Instagram DMs, and said, ‘Your messages are confusing’“, she said, showing her phone to the camera.
The new owner of the random number alternated between calling Styles ‘my darling‘, but in the end it was pretty straightforward. See the conversation with the stranger:

Rosalía concluded by saying to Jimmy “Imagine being that person, now watching Jimmy Fallon’s show and saying, ‘I told Harry Styles not to bother me’”, she laughed.
