Earlier this week, Puerto Rican reggaeton singer and songwriter Rauw Alejandro confirmed his break up from the Spanish singer Rosalia, who he had been with for at least 3 years, and is now involved in a romantic relationship with American pop singer Camilla Cabello, according to recent reports.
The break up between the two performers was a huge topic on social media, and it gained even more attention when internet users started spreading a theory claiming that Rauw would have actually cheated on Rosalia with a Colombian super model, which got him a lot of backlash.
Both of them released statements about the controversy, clarifying that they had indeed split but also claiming that the reason for their separation was not cheating, they also specified that that had split a long time ago. However, internet users quickly realized that both statements were merely intended to relieve some of the backlash that Rauw was receiving from the public, since the dates that they gave on their statements didn’t match and there were a lot of holes in their story.
The Colombian model also got a lot of negative comments in her social network, and took to Instagram to explain that she did not have any encounters with Rauw, and that she would be pressing charges.
On the newest plot twist of the story, “Havana” singer Camilla Cabello was introduced to this drama and is being rumored to be dating Rauw Alejandro, just a few days after his break up from Rosalia.
The social media of both singers have been clouded with a lot of hate comments, especially Camilla’s, since she is now being rumored to be not only the new lover of Rauw, but also the mistress who he cheated on her with.
