On September 20, Charles Spencer made a statement accusing King Charles III of “gaslighting” him by questioning his explosive account of events around her death in an upcoming memoir. His new memoir, “Swan Song,” comes out Tuesday and has already become the talk of the town.
“It is not every day you wake up to find you’ve been gaslit by the King.”
Buckingham Palace immediately cleared the air by stating that the 77-year-old king “is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgment and color memory in ways others do not recognize, even many years after such a loss.”
