Recent reports revealed that OH MY GIRL‘s comeback has been delayed to the first half of 2027, shocking all fans who have been waiting for them to release new music this current year.
Previously, in February, WM Entertainment, the agency behind the girl group, announced they were preparing for a comeback with the goal of starting activities in the first half of this year; however, this project never came to light.
On June 22nd, the new statement thanks fans for their support and “apologizes for not providing sufficient updates regarding the group activities and performances” regarding their comeback and continues explaining that despite the members’ efforts, taking this project has turned harder.
“However, as the process of collecting and selecting high-quality music for the new album has taken longer than expected, we have determined that it is no longer feasible to proceed with the schedule as originally planned.”

The agency continued apologizing for causing confusion among fans for their “failure to provide clear and timely updates” of OH MY GIRL’s next comeback and claimed they are working hard “with the goal of releasing the album in the first half of next year.”
They continue announcing that “solo album activities by the members are scheduled for the second half of this year,” with the members taking this time to focus on their individual projects while preparing their full comeback behind the scenes.
The statement concluded with sincere apologies and their promise “to fulfill our responsibilities and work to rebuild your trust through more responsible and timely communication moving forward.”
