KATSEYE is giving fans a closer look at their fast-paced rise to stardom through the first trailer for their upcoming concert film, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS. The sneak peek, released on July 15, 2026, previews live performances, intense rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes moments that capture the group’s journey from trainees to one of pop’s breakthrough acts. During the trailer, member Sophia Laforteza reflects on how quickly everything happened by asking, “How did we get to this point so quickly?” while the group’s hit song “Pinky Up” plays in the background.
The film promises an intimate look at the group’s story through exclusive interviews, unseen footage, and videos submitted by the group’s fans, known as EYEKONS. It also revisits KATSEYE’s formation through Dream Academy in 2023, which was later shown in Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE. Member Manon Bannerman, who was put on hiatus earlier this year, appears briefly in the trailer. However, she is not featured individually in the film, like the rest of the members. The project was directed by Nadia Hallgren and produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen.
KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS will premiere in theaters worldwide for a limited run beginning August 12, 2026, just two days before the quintet releases their upcoming EP, WILD. The project will arrive on August 14, 2026, preceded by the high-energy track PINKY UP and the concert film. Trafalgar Releasing said the event is designed to celebrate the connection between KATSEYE and its global fanbase while giving audiences an immersive experience that goes beyond the concert stage.
“KATSEYE’s first-ever cinema event celebrates the passionate EYEKONS community that has embraced KATSEYE’s journey from the group’s formation to becoming one of pop’s most exciting new global acts. We are excited to bring the fandom together in theaters around the world for a shared, immersive experience.”
