K-Netizens demand to investigate HYBE amid BTS’ chart manipulation scandal

<p>HYBE and BTS are under scrutiny by the public because of malicious actions during <em>“The Most Beautiful Moment in Life.”</em> The idols are facing several accusations regarding extortions over the marketing practices associated with their music catalog. This was enough for the K-Netizens to ask for HYBE and other major idol groups to be investigated.</p>

<p>In 2017, the Seoul Central District Court uncovered evidence of illegal marketing, during a case where an individual threatened to expose these practices unless paid. Through these threats, the individual managed to extort approximately $41,400.</p>
