Jisoo tops the actor list as the Netflix drama dominates audience attention

Netflix’s Boyfriend on Demand ranked No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the most buzzworthy dramas, according to rankings released this week. The company measures buzz by analyzing news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media discussions about K-Dramas that are currently airing or scheduled to air soon. Besides taking the first place on the K-Drama tally, the show also won in the actor rankings. Jisoo took the top spot 1 among the most buzzworthy drama actors, showing the strong public response to both the show and her starring role.

The drama’s success was also reflected in the rankings of its co-stars, with Seo In Guk coming in at No. 3, while Seo Kang Jun ranked No. 6. In second place on the drama list was tvN’s Undercover Miss Hong, which remained strong during its final week on air. The show’s lead actress, Park Shin Hye, ranked No. 2 on the actor list. In addition, tvN’s new thriller Siren’s Kiss debuted at No. 3, and its stars Park Min Young and Wi Ha Joon entered the actor rankings at No. 4 and No. 10.

Meanwhile, Boyfriend On Demand centers on a futuristic dating app that lets users create an ideal boyfriend inside a virtual dating system. Jisoo plays Mi Rae, a tired webtoon producer who enters this world through a program called Monthly Boyfriend for a second chance at love. The K-Drama premiered on March 6 with 10 episodes and it is currently available on Netflix.
