A few hours ago, BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo sparked excitement in a new Hot Ones teaser after her appearance in this famous American show was confirmed on social networks.
After the official social networks of Hot Ones announce the K-Pop idol is their next guest for this week’s new episode, they have released teaser videos with the idol promoting this interview set to release on YouTube on July 30th.
Today, they release a new teaser showing a small glimpse of their interview where the host asked Jisoo if her favorite English phrase still is ‘it’s a pity’ and the explanation of it, to which he confessed it was “to give the impression that I speak good English.”
“If I used that phrase, people would think, ‘She knows a bit of English!'”

In another fragment of the interview, she was asked about the origin story of her nickname ‘Turtle Rabbit Kim,’ revealing that when she discovered what a middle name was, she wanted one and used the fact that people said she looked like a rabbit:
“They said ‘you look like a rabbit,’ so it should be Jisoo Rabbit Kim. But I wanted to fit ‘turtle’ in somewhere, and that’s how it became ‘Jisoo Turtle Rabbit Kim’.”
After this revelation, the host asked the idol to make a nickname for him, so she asked him for his middle name and finally said, “Sean… Hot… Christopher,” making him laugh and asking his staff to call him by that name from now on.
