Jisoo apologizes for communication issues over BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary event

Jisoo apologizes for disappointing fans on BLACKPINK 10th anniversary live

During the BLACKPINK 10th anniversary Weverse live, Jisoo drew attention by apologizing for communication issues over the event to celebrate this important milestone in their careers.

On August 8th KST, the girl group reunites for a Weverse live stream and an exclusive meet and greet with a total of 40 lucky fans. Despite the members’ efforts to adjust their schedules for the event, many fans expressed disappointment, as they expected a larger-scale event.

For that reason, Jisoo took a moment on their 11-minute live to apologize for this small event on such an important day for BLACKPINK: “Originally, we really wanted to see lots of people.”

“But I think there was a bit of a communication failure on our part, and it seems like we were left somewhat to our own devices. We’re deeply sorry for that.”

Despite their desires to spend the day having fun and joy, they recognized and understood BLINK “might be feeling a little upset right now” for the lack of a bigger event to commemorate this day. She said, “I hope you can understand what’s in our hearts.”

On social networks, BLINK was moved by Jisoo’s words, making viral clips from the event where the idol seemed to be containing her tears while waving fans from her car amid all this controversy.
