Following her subtle acting debut earlier this year, it was recently announced that ITZY‘s Yuna will have her first starring role in the upcoming Netflix K-drama ‘Do Not Climb Over the Wall.’
According to Naver, this is a romantic drama written by Lee Na Eun, who previously wrote ‘Melo Movie‘ and ‘Our Beloved Summer,’ a romantic drama about students experiencing their first love in a school with strict rules about dating.
“A high school romance story about two students from rival elite schools—a boys’ school and a girls’ school separated by a fence—who both become student council presidents and refuse to lose to each other. Under a strict rule that expels students for getting caught dating, it portrays the reckless first love of 19-year-olds.”
The main cast is composed of Shin Si Ah, Moon Sang Min, and Yuna, whose character is named Kim Riji, who is transferred to the all-girls school with a sports scholarship, where she quickly begins to alter the academic environment by sharing her experiences in mixed schools.
The production is scheduled to begin in September 2026, while the official release is expected to be in late 2027 or early 2028.
